Cristiano Ronaldo declared richest footballer in the world with €148m, Messi comes Second, Eto'o is 3rd

Today Monday March 10th, popular football website Goal.com released their Rich List and declared Real Madrid and Portugal striker Cristiano Ronaldo as the richest active footballer in the world.

The World Footballer of the Year held off rival Lionel Messi in the 2014 Goal Rich List with an estimated wealth of €148 million. Retired footballer David Beckham was the 2013 Goal Rich List winner but since he's retired from football, he's no longer eligible to be put in the list.

Messi comes second with an estimated net worth of €146million followed by Eto'o with €85million then Wayne Rooney with €148million, and Kaka rounds off the top 5 with €82million.

But Goal made it clear that the list is based on the revenue of active players over the course of their entire careers and not just the previous year. See the top 10 richest footballers below:

Khloe Kardashian Hooking Up With The Game to Make Me Jealous - Lamar Odom

Posted by Unknown 0 komentar

Rumors were flying about a possible hook-up between Khloe Kardashian and rapper The Game when Khloe posted a pic of them together last month. Now, Lamar Odom is suspicious of Khloe's motives.
According to Us Weekly, Lamar does not appreciate Khloe and The Game spending time together, and he thinks Khloe is just doing this to hurt him.
"[Lamar] says she’s hooking up with The Game as revenge," says an insider. In other words, it's safe to say that Lamar got an eyeful of that pic of Khloe and The Game and was not pleased.
Lamar has signed with a Spanish basketball team, but apparently he's hopeful that he can still patch things up with Khloe when he gets back to the U.S. "He is in Spain for two months, and he thinks by the time he gets back to L.A., they could get back together," adds the insider.
In Khloe's defense, her friends have refuted rumors that she would ever hook up with The Game. And the
rapper himself has said that they're just friends but that he has hooked up with Khloe's sis, Kim Kardashian.

Baby Girl Delivered At Accident Scene (PHOTO)

 * Paramedic Ceron Lennox, left, and  Amanda Ngeleka

A South African paramedic, Ceron Lennox and her colleague on Thursday delivered a pregnant woman of a baby girl while at a scene of an accident that happened at the corner of Stephen Dlamini (Essenwood) and Sandile Thusi (Argyle) roads in Durban.

Two bikers had been injured in an accident at the corner.
Lennox was in the ambulance when she heard an ear-piercing scream. It was not coming from one of the injured bikers though - it was the cry of a woman, Amanda Ngeleka, in labour.
Her husband (who did not want to be named) had run to the ambulance and explained to Lennox that his wife, sitting in his bakkie, was experiencing labour pains.
Rescue Care Paramedics spokesman, Garrith Jamieson, said on Sunday that Lennox had rushed over and confirmed the woman was in labour.
Because the bakkie seat could not recline, Lennox grabbed a spare mattress from the ambulance and placed it next to the bakkie.
“Lennox carefully delivered the baby, wrapped it in other sterile linen savers and a blanket that mom had,”
Jamieson said.
Mother and daughter were taken to King Dinuzulu (formerly King George V) Hospital and were discharged on Sunday. The injured bikers, meanwhile, were treated by another paramedic and taken to a nearby hospital.
The mother of three said that it was an incredible feeling bringing a healthy baby with no complications into the world.
“This is not the first time I (have) helped a woman give birth. I have been working in the emergency medical services for nine years and something like delivering a baby is incredible,” she said.
“To see the joy on the father’s face was amazing and gave me goose bumps.
“It’s not often that we deliver a baby, so it’s a special occasion,” Lennox said.

PHOTOS: Meet Bizarre Cannibal Cult Who Drink From Skulls and Sleeps On Dead Bodies

An extreme group of cannibals who use dead bodies as beds are growing as people flock to join the bizarre order.
The Aghori cannibals - who live by the Ganges River in northern India - also smear themselves with the ash from cremated bodies and drink from skulls.
The group are feared by locals despite only eating the flesh of people who are already dead.
Intrepid Irish photographer Darragh Mason, 37, spent time with the group - who are growing despite practicing celibacy.

The photographer said: "They are known to pull bodies from the Ganges and eat them.
Skulls and other human bones are taken from the cremation grounds and used for ritual purposes. They believe that power comes from the dead.
At one point they tried to get me to drink water from the Ganges out of a human skull but around two metres upstream they were cremating bodies so I just couldn't - the river is teaming with disease anyway."

Darragh said people were 'attracted' to the extreme sect's way of life.
"There was an American gentleman who lived with the group for sometime. Amazingly people are really attracted to this way of life.
They actively try to be thought of as the lowest in society which is why they do not dress well and their hair is often matted."

How can a Plane disappear?

Posted by Unknown 0 komentar

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA—In an age when people assume that any bit of information is just a click away, the thought that a jetliner could simply disappear over the ocean is staggering.
But Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 is hardly the first reminder of how big the seas are — and how agonizing it can be to try to find something lost in them.
It took two years to find the main wreckage of an Air France jet that plunged into the Atlantic Ocean in 2009.
Closer to the area between Malaysia and Vietnam where Saturday’s flight vanished, it took a week for debris from an Indonesian jet to be spotted in 2007. Today, the mostly intact fuselage still sits on the bottom of the ocean.
“The world is a big place,” said Michael Smart, a professor of aerospace engineering at the University of Queensland in Australia. “If it happens to come down in the middle of the ocean and it’s not near a shipping
lane or something, who knows how long it could take them to find?”
Amid the confusion, officials involved in the search say the Malaysian jet may have made a U-turn, adding one more level of uncertainty to the effort to find it. They even suggest the plane could be hundreds of kilometres from where it was last detected.
Aviation experts say the plane will be found — eventually. Since the start of the jet age in 1958, only a handful of jets have gone missing and not been found.
“I’m absolutely confident that we will find this airplane,” Capt. John M. Cox, who spent 25 years flying for US Airways and is now CEO of Safety Operating Systems, said Monday.
The modern pace of communications, where GPS features in our cars and smartphones tell us our location at any given moment, has set unreal expectations. “This is not the first time we have had to wait a few days to find the wreckage.”
Based on what he’s heard, Cox believes it’s increasingly clear that the plane somehow veered from its normal flight path. He said that after the plane disappeared from radar, it must have been “intact and flew for some period of time. Beyond that, it’s all speculation.”
If it had exploded mid-air along its normal flight path, “we would have found it by now.”
Malaysian civil aviation chief Azharuddin Abdul Rahman, whose agency is leading a multinational effort to find the Boeing 777, said more than 1,000 people and at least 34 planes and 40 ships were searching a radius of 100 nautical miles (185 kilometres) around the last known location of Flight MH370. No signal has been detected since early Saturday morning, when the plane was at its cruising altitude and showed no sign of trouble.
Azharuddin said the search includes northern parts of the Malacca Strait, on the opposite side of the Malay Peninsula and far west of the plane’s last known location. He would not explain why crews were searching there, saying: “There are some things that I can tell you and some things that I can’t.”
Some aviation experts are already calling for airlines to update their cockpit technology to provide a constant stream of data — via satellites — back to the ground. Information about key system operations is already recorded on the flight data and voice recorders — the so-called black boxes — but, as this crash shows, it is not immediately available. Such satellite uplinks would be costly and the benefit is debated.
Just about every major jet to disappear in the modern era has eventually been found. The rare exceptions didn’t involve passengers.
In September 1990, a Boeing 727 owned by Faucett Airlines of Peru was ditched into the North Atlantic after running out of fuel on its way to Miami. The accident was attributed to poor pilot planning and the wreck was never recovered.
More mysterious was the disappearance of another 727 in Africa. It was being used to transport diesel fuel to diamond mines. The owners had numerous financial problems and one day, just before sunset, the plane took off without clearance and with its transponder turned off. It is believed to have crashed in the Atlantic Ocean. One theory, never proven, is that it was stolen so the owner could collect insurance.
“I can’t think of a water crash in the jet age that hasn’t been solved,” said Scott Hamilton, managing director of aviation consultancy Leeham Co.

Olajoke Adesope who had petitioned the National Human Rights Commission, claims she was forcefully evicted from her shop by the National Center for Women Development, Abuja under the orders of the musician.
If you recall, Onyeka Onwenu was appointed executive director of the National Centre for Women Development in September 2013.

After seeking for Onyeka Onwenu’s audience, she got a response to visit and narrated the story. Onyeka apologized and said a formal apology will be written.
“On February 13, I got a call from Onwenu asking why I had not moved out of the shop and I told her that nobody had given me an allocation letter for the new shop as she promised.
She said if I failed to move out by February 14, she would send for the State Security Service to chase me out.
On February 14, I was at the centre early. I heard that Onwenu, in company with her security personnel, had forced my shop open. I ran there and saw her supervising the forceful ejection without any prior court or police order,” she explained.
While taking photos from the scene with her phone, Onyeka Onwenu asked the phone be confiscated. In the struggle for the phone, she was beaten and dragged on the ground while her clothes and bag were torn.
Mohammed Suleiman, a legal team for the Women Dev. Centre, stated that Olajoke was not a legal tenant. He also stated she was asked to relocate to another shop because of President Jonathan’s visit on February 14.
